Out of Love for Fusia
The idea for WNDA Pets was born out of a simple yet magical moment - right after we adopted our cat, Fusia.
One day, my partner and I built her a scratching post out of real wood. We looked at each other and thought: what if we sew her a bed too?
And that’s how it all began.
The very first handmade pet bed was crafted from my old clothes — a colorful patchwork full of memories. Fusia loved it. That moment sparked something in me. We went to a fabric store, found materials that truly spoke to us, and I began sewing more.
That’s how WNDA Pets was created - from passion, warmth, and a desire to make meaningful things for animals we love.
My name is Wanda Pędrak. I’m a seamstress by heart and by profession. I was born in Poland but have lived in Norway for the past seven years. I work in a sewing studio and raise my one-year-old daughter, Laura.
Our life is calm, gentle, and full of love. I cycle to work, we hike in the mountains, and spend sunny afternoons at the beach. We live simply - but mindfully. We’re just like you, on the other side of the screen.
My partner, Artur, is my quiet strength. We met a few years ago in Oslo, and since then we’ve been a team - I start something, he finishes it. He helps me run the brand, supports me every day, and takes care of the details no one sees. Thanks to him, WNDA Pets runs the way it does - with balance, love, and dedication.
Meet Fusia - the heart of WNDA Pets
Fusia is a special cat with a little torn ear. We adopted her from Poland after she’d been found in a forest - sick, scared, and alone. At first, she hid under the sofa. Today, she walks proudly around the house, sleeps with us in bed, jumps into my lap, and purrs louder than any machine.
She inspired me to create the first handcrafted cat bed - and she continues to inspire every one that follows.
Each bed I make is for animals like her - those who deserve only the best.
What WNDA Pets Stands For
My goal is to create pet beds that are more than just products. They are cozy spaces of rest, safety, and love.
I’m not interested in mass production or cheap plastics. I believe that quality is a process - slow, intentional, and made with care.
Every WNDA Pets bed is handmade by me: from cutting the pattern and selecting fabrics, to choosing threads, embroidery, and filling - always with natural, washed sheep wool.
I make each one as if it were for my own pet - because that’s how things for our loved ones should be made.
Sewing has been part of my life since childhood. I always knew this was my path.
Now, through WNDA Pets, I combine my craft, family life, and love for animals. It gives me joy, calm, and a deep sense of purpose.
My dream is to dedicate myself fully to the brand within a year, and one day open my own studio - a space where beautiful, soulful pet accessories come to life.
I also want to inspire others - to show that we can all choose consciously, with care for animals, the planet, and people.
